As an Army wife for 20 years, I traveled the world and spent many nights in different B&B’s, almost all of which hold fond memories for me. I can finally say that my dream of owning a bed and breakfast has come true.
After my husband retired from the Army, we moved to Pennsylvania, just outside Philadelphia, and we lived there for many years. I worked as a Compensaton Consultant at the corporate headquarters of a global technology corporation for ten of those years. After my husband passed away and I was laid off, I knew it was time to move on. That's when that little dream of mine that had been sleeping for so many years resurfaced and beckoned me to buy a home that I could open up to guests as a bed and breakfast.
I searched for a quite place in the country that I could call home. When this place popped up in my search, I just had to go see it. As luck would have it, the owners were having an open house the following weekend, which I was eager to attend. As I walked through the double front doors I knew that I was opening the doors to the next chapter in my life.
Home is where the heart is, and my heart is here. I would love to share my home with you.
